The Pace Car pulls on to the track during a race with lights flashing and normally accompanied by yellow flags around the track, what should you do? Slow down and keep behind the Pace Car Carry on racing Overtake the Pace Car and catch up with the driver you were following before None 11. The Start Marshal displays a white flag with red cross, what should you do? Carry on racing Slow down Retire to the Infield as soon as it is safe to do so None 12. The Start Marshal displays a white flag with blue spot, what does this mean? The track has oil or debris that you need to be aware of You have been excluded from the race, pull off You are being watched by Race Control for an incident you have been involved in None 13. You are involved in an incident on track and you crash to a halt, what should you do? Undo your belts and get out of your car as soon as you can Stay in your car belted up and indicate to Marshals if you are OK with a thumbs up or a thumbs down if you are injured Sit tight and do nothing None 14. You have retired from the race to the Infield for whatever reason, what do you do? Undo your belts, take your helmet off and sit tight Undo your belts, take your helmet off, get out of the car and move to a safe position on the infield Sit tight with your belts fastened, your helmet on or take your belts off, leave your helmet on and retire to a safe position on the Infield None 15. The Start Marshal has the chequered flag on display, but you are not the first driver to be shown it, what does this mean? Slow down, no overtaking and get into single file Slow down immediately and come to a stop as soon as it is safe to do so Slow down and return to the start line and stop None 19.
