Unless otherwise instructed by Race Control, drivers should form the grid according to roof grading.
Standard Grid Order
The grid order is ‘in roof grades’, and randomly assigned within. Heat 2 is a reverse, again in roof grades.
White Roofs
↓
Yellow Roofs
↓
Blue Roofs
↓
Red Roofs
Drivers should know their grid position before entering the track, this will be displayed on the office wall (if possible), and the gate Marshal’s will inform you. BE aware that gird positions can change up to and including cars being already on grid.
Grid Formation (Finals)
Using the Carol Longhurst scoring system, the results of the heats are calculated, Competitors are then placed again in their grades, with the fastest red at the front, and working back. All other roof grades are the same.
