All drivers in all classes are required to have a working radio receiver
This allows race control to communicate important information to drivers on the track. Including positioning, flag status, safety information, advice, and warnings.
Tipperary Raceway uses channel 952 (461.8875Mhz) ( Channel 2 on the RT Race Reciever).
All drivers are expected to set their radios to this frequency and be able to hear it any time they are on track.
Currently, the best option for a race receiver appears to be the RT Race receiver. Brendan Dee (Open RWD car #131) supplies these locally and is at the track most race days. He can be contacted at
